Sorachi Ace Available to Pre Order

Further to our news regarding the Green Bullet hops, we have sourced a limited supply of Sorachi Ace hops. Used in beers like Sapporo Lager and more recently, Brew Dog's IPA is Dead, these Japanese hops are much sought after. We are expecting delivery on Tuesday 1st March but have a small quantity available at £4.50 per 100g. These will be dispatched, same day (or day after depending on the time of order) on a first come first served basis.

Great news hop lovers. We've got our hands on a limited supply of Green Bullet Hops. These high alpha dual purpose hops are great in pale beers. Here's a recipe I put together last year that turned out rather well (if I do say so myself).

A First For Easy Home Brew

We're very pleased to announce that we have a new range of very high quality 30 bottle wine kits. The Doc's Original kits require no extra sugar and take two to three weeks to ferment. After adding finings and stabiliser, it will be ready to drink a couple of weeks later but would benefit from bulk ageing. These kits have been recommended to us by one of our customers and we are sure you will enjoy them.


We have the following varieties available: Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Chablis Style, Shiraz/Merlot, Cabernet/Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Belvino Wine Kits Now in Stock

Bit quiet in the shop today, possibly not helped by the weather. We've now got the Belvino kits in stock; we have five different varieties, Classic Red, Rose, California White, Piesporter and Chardonnay. All you need to add is brewing sugar and water to give you wine ready to drink in seven days.

Supporting Kent Homebrewers

Easy Home Brew was proud to support the inaugural meeting of the East Kent Amateur Brewers meeting at Bottle Shop in the Good Shed, Canterbury this week.


Home brewers from East (and West) Kent met to share beer and advice at the South East's leading supplier of bottled beer for the first of many monthly meetings. Easy Home Brew, Kent's newest home brewing and winemaking shop, entered into the spirit by providing discount vouchers valid online and instore. 


Situated just outside Canterbury West Railway Station, the Goods Shed offers east of access to brewers from either side of the county. Meetings are scheduled for the 1st Wednesday of each month and start at 7.30pm.
